Satyam Shivam Sundaram

Ba’Ba’ Satyam

Ba’Ba’ Shivam

Ba’Ba’ Sundaram

This chant picks me up immediately. It is perfect for a walking meditation.

Ba’Ba’  : the Beloved,  the affectionate way to address the Parama Purusha (God, Cosmic Consciousness)

Satyam : Truth

Shivam : Consciousness

Sundaram : Beautiful

More on definitions:

Satyam: Sanskrit for ‘true, real, pure’, that which abides and exists beyond ‘maya’. The word satyam is formed from sat with the added abstract suffix ya. Sat refers to what is true and real.
