## Primordial Generator

The primordial fabric of the universe has a fundamental invariance. The golden equation

$g-1/g=1$

is the symbol of this fundamental invariance.

The golden equation is telling us that if the primordial fabric is distorted it will be distorted in such a way that the physical manifestation and its inverse will maintain unity.

Any distortion in the primordial fabric has to have a dual distortion as to leave the unity unchanged.

When the perfect symmetry of the primordial fabric is broken, the space-time-matter is formed but at the same time the inverse/dual of the space-time-matter must be formed.

The “g” of the golden equation can be interpreted as the physical manifestation and “1/g” as the mind dimension. The dual of space-time-matter is known as the mind-stuff (citta).

The golden equation is telling us that mind-stuff and space-time-matter are two poles of the same substance.

The golden equation also points to the conservation of curvature of the space-time-matter. In this interpretation “g” is the curvature of space-time, then “1/g” is related to the negative curvature (hyperbolic geometry).  The golden equation then is an expression of the conservation of curvature. We know from the General Relativity Theory of Einstein that the matter distorts (bends) the space-time. The curvature of space-time around any object is negative. If there is a conservation of curvature then matter must be a form manifesting positive curvature of the space-time-matter. When matter (positive curvature) is created, space-time (negative curvature) must come into existence simultaneously to maintain the zero curvature of the space-time-matter.

The concept of “engraving” is mentioned in verse 1:1 of the Sefer Yetzirah to symbolize the primordial formation. Sefer Yetzirah is the earliest text of Kabbalah and it means “The Book of Formation” in Hebrew. When you engrave letters on a plate you are creating an “opposite space.” The “space” and the “opposite space” concepts point to the golden equation and the primordial invariance implied by the golden equation.

Another hint about the golden equation was given by Rumi: “Hidden things are manifested by their opposites, but as God has no opposite He remains hidden. God’s light has no opposite in the range of creation whereby it may be manifested to view.

First stage of physical manifestation

In the first stage of physical manifestation symbolized by the abstract generator $g-1/g=1$, the distortions of the primordial fabric appear as primordial particles (cittanu). The collective motion of cittanu acquire wavelike properties.

Second stage of physical manifestation

In the second stage symbolized by the abstract generator $g^2+1/g^2=3$, space emerges from cittanu. If we use the curvature language we can imagine that space emerges from the “curvature atoms” (mathematical constructs related to curvature). This is similar to the “space-time atom” (atoms of volume) terminology used in the Loop Quantum Gravity theory of physics. The other promising theory called Causal Dynamical Triangulations has a similar idea: space-time is approximated as a mosaic of triangles which have a built-in distinction of space and time.

Third stage of physical manifestation

In the third stage symbolized by the abstract generator $g^3-1/g^3=4$,  time and vibration emerge. Electromagnetic waves manifest.

Fourth stage of physical manifestation

In the fourth stage symbolized by the abstract generator $g^4+1/g^4=7$, electric charge, and other charges (topological and other kinds) are formed, the strong and the weak nuclear forces manifest.

Fifth stage of physical manifestation

In the fifth stage symbolized by the abstract generator $g^5-1/g^5=11$, the mass and the gravitational force manifest.

On the Mathematical Form of the 5 Abstract Generators

I would like to remind you that on the right hand side of the 5 abstract generators shown above, we have the Lucas numbers 1, 3, 4, 7, 11. Also note the pattern of signs in the abstract generators. The sign between the two terms of the left hand side is alternating. The sign is – in the first generator. Then it becomes + in the second generator, – in the third, + in the fourth, and – again in the fifth generator. The “g” and “1/g” are abstract symbols, not numbers, but curiously they appear to have the same properties as the golden number φ.
