Soul is dimensionless. Love is dimensionless. Consciousness is dimensionless.

Dimensionless is endless, formless, unbounded, uncountable, innumerable, immeasurable and eternal.  Dimensionless is beyond the bounds of time, space and person. Dimensionless does not come within the scope of measurement. Dimensionless is free of attributes and dimensions.

Dimensionless does not mean nothingness. On the contrary, “dimensionless” refers to a different kind of infinity, the infinity of possibilities. Think of the contrast between the infinity of possibilities and the infinity of dimensions and attributes. They are both infinite but in a different way.

It also helps to contrast “dimensionless” to “dimension.” What is dimension? Well, that was the title of one of my posts. In that article I mentioned dimension as space extension, dimension as degrees of freedom, dimension as elapsed time. I also discussed fractal dimensions and statistical factors as dimensions.

The concepts of “dimension” and “attribute” are not the same. In “Fun with Aphorisms” I mentioned that the “attributional capacity” (dimensions + attributes) is conserved during transformations of Consciousness. That was too brief. I hope to write more on the conservation of attributional capacity.

Dimensionless is symbolized by a “point” or “dot.”

universe_pointThe “dot” in the AUM symbol symbolizes the dimensionless existence of Godhead (Absolute Being, Nirguna Brahma, Pure Consciousness, infinite ocean of love and bliss).

Spiritual philosophy teaches that God and Godhead are One. This is very difficult to understand intellectually. The confusion arises because God has infinite number of names, attributes and dimensions. Godhead is nameless, dimensionless and free of attributes. Yet, they are the same! This is the biggest mystery!
